IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!

Regarding your website hosted on the TrainWeb.org server:

We have moved all of the trainweb.org accounts to a new server. We ran out of space on the old server and had to immediately prevent any further uploads to the new server. The move to the new server has been completed. New FTP upload instructions have been posted to http://www.trainweb.org/tech/org.html. All files that you had uploaded to the old server have already been moved to the new server. You do not need to re-upload any files that were already in your web account.

Your URL on the new server is the same as your URL on the old server. If you did not change the login-id/password that we assigned to you and if your account was created less than one year ago, then you will be able to log on using the same login-id/password that you had been using on the old web server. If you changed your password or if your account was created more than a year ago, then we might not have been able to keep the same password on the new web server. If your login-id/password does not work on the new web server, please send e-mail to steve@trainweb.com.

Disk usage is now tracked automatically on the new server. New accounts are initially given 10 megabytes of disk space. You are welcome to use additional disk space to upload more rail related material, but you will need to e-mail a request to us for additional blocks of disk space each time that you reach your new quota level. Existing accounts have been assigned a disk quota that is 10 megabytes above their present disk usage, but are also welcome to request more space as needed.

Note: This notice does not apply to websites that have a URL starting with "trainweb.COM" nor to any other websites hosted at TrainWeb that have URLs that start with anything other than "trainweb.ORG". Those websites were not moved to the new server.
