The e-commerce at TrainWeb is hosted on a secure server using 128-bit encryption, the strongest encryption available. Orders will be forwarded to you by secure encrypted e-mail so that the customer's credit card number, contact and order information remain totally secure along the entire path of the transaction.
As a vendor, you will also have the option to have your customer's credit card authorized online. In that way, funds are automatically charged to your customer, deposited to your bank, and all you need to deal with is sending out the merchandise! There will be no need for you to manually enter the customer's credit card number at your end and then to start an e-mail or phone interaction with the customer if their is a problem with the credit card. You don't get the order until the charge is approved and has an assigned authorization code. The customer knows immediately while placing the order if there is a problem with their card and whether or not the order went through. Our online e-commerce is compatible with over 95% of the financial institutions in America so that you can stay with your current bank if you already have a merchant account.
