Celebrate The Century Express sponsored by the United States Postal Service (USPS) and Amtrak.

The USPS Celebrate The Century Express Train was in a siding at the Fullerton Santa Fe Depot from 8:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 10, 2000 until Sunday evening, May 14, 2000. The train was open to scheduled school groups on Friday, May 12, and then open to the general public during Fullerton Railroad Days held Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, 2000. The estimated number of people to walk through the train on Saturday and Sunday was about 30,000.
