- A 20-minute Amtrak Thruway bus ride from the Martinez
station will find you at the main gate of Marine World/Africa
USA in Vallejo. There are over 1,000 animals in natural habitats
and performing in shows. Some, accompanied by their trainers,
are casually walking among the visitors. The whale and dolphin
shows are big hits

- In addition, there is a
wildlife theater, elephant encounter, bird habitat and shark
exhibit. Over 500 species of butterflies from all over the world
are found in Butterfly World. Kangaroos, emus, wallabies and
cockatoos are found in the Australian habitat--called Walkabout.

and evening departures stop at the Marine World main gate. All
other Amtrak Thruway buses arrive and leave at the Holiday Inn,
just across the street from the Marine World.)
