The Amtrak Texas Eagle shares a station with DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit and with another commuter rail route that will eventually connect with Fort Worth. The makes for very easy connections between the Texas Eagle and local transportation.

If you look carefully, you can see the videocameras of a television station on the platform. This was the day that it was announced that there would be a Texas Eagle Route for as long as Amtrak exists! I was interviewed along with several others in the Dallas station by the television news crew.
