Is This My Kitchen?

While opening the door into the Family Bedroom on the Coast Starlight, I suddenly noticed that something looked awfully familiar about it. It is the exact same decor as my entire kitchen!

Two years before I took my first ride on Amtrak we had our home completely redecorated. Part of that remodeling effort included replacing our entire kitchen with modern cabinetry and appliances. We selected a speckled light grey laminate for all the kitchen cabinets and for the built-in kitchen table. We selected a matching speckled light pink laminate for all the counter tops and for the bar and home video theatre that is within view of the kitchen. We even had matching speckled light grey laminate inserts made for the built-in refrigerator and dishwasher so that the appliances blend in with the rest of the kitchen. You can't even see the refrigerator and dishwasher in my kitchen unless you check each cabinet.
