As a First Class Passenger all of your Dining Car meals are complimentary. If you wish, you may substitute lighter fare from our Lounge Car menu for your full meal in the Diner. This option is available to you during scheduled meal periods only. At all other times, you may purchase items from the snack bar in the Sightseer® Lounge for the posted menu prices.

Your complimentary meals in the Dining Car include your choice of entree, desert, and beverage. Beer, wine, and cocktails may be purchased at a nominal cost.

Breakfast and lunch in the Diner are served on a first-come, first-served basis. Should you find the Diner is full, you will be placed on a waiting list and be seated as space becomes available. You are welcome to wait in the Sightseer® Lounge or in the privacy of your room until your table is ready.

A member of the crew will pass through every car each afternoon offering reservations for dinner. Due to the individual nature of every trip, the hours of service and scheduled seatings for each meal may vary. You will be given a written reservation slip clearly indicating your requested time and guest count. Hold on to this slip, bring it with you, and present it upon entering the Diner. Please listen for any announcements pertaining to Dining Car operations.

In order to accommodate all passengers on board, especially during peak seasons, we follow a "Community Seating" policy traditional to railroad dining cars, whereby all four seats at every table are used. We kindly request that, as you enter the Diner, you wait for a member of the crew to great you. You will then be shown to your table. We will make every effort to honor any special seating requests you may have. We must, however, seat all passengers in the most efficient manner possible. Please take advantage of this opportunity to meet and to share a few moments with your fellow travelers.

Your Service Attendant will ask for your signature on your meal check. This simply verifies that you have been served the meal to which you are entitled.

Seating on both the upper and lower levels of the Lounge Car is unreserved and open to all passengers. As space is limited, we kindly ask that you plan your stays in this car to allow fellow guests the opportunity to enjoy the scenery and the atmosphere.

Please listen for announcements pertaining to the hours of service for the Cafe Bar. As the Lounge Car Attendant will be taking periodic breaks, announcments will be made concerning the opening and closing of the snack bar throughout the day.
