On the way from the yard to the Amtrak Chicago Station the trains pass under this building. I'm not sure what building it is. It might be the post office. I had to walk under this building along the service road to get back to the station from the yard.
The photos in this slide show were taken in the mid-1990's by Steve Grande on his Amtrak travels throughout the nation. The size of the photos is purposely smaller as disk space was expensive and download speeds were slower at that time.
