This is the Standard Bedroom in which I would travel from Chicago, Illinois to Fullerton, California. On my tour of the Chicago Amtrak Yard, we boarded and walked through the entire train that I would be taking. We paused at my room which you see in this photo. We made sure that everything was working so that anything out of order could be repaired while the train was still in the yard.
The photos in this slide show were taken in the mid-1990's by Steve Grande on his Amtrak travels throughout the nation. The size of the photos is purposely smaller as disk space was expensive and download speeds were slower at that time.
