This guide can be picked up at most Amtrak stations along the route of the San Diegan trains between San Diego and San Luis Obispo. You'll usually find it placed along with the train schedules. This guide is a yellow booklet about the same size as the train schedules. If you don't see it, ask at the ticket counter. The booklet lists information about every station, transportation at the station, lodging and attractions near the station.
Street address, phone number, available parking and hours, available Amtrak bus services.
Taxi cabs & phone numbers, local bus & train services & phone numbers.
Names of Car Rental Agencies, phone numbers, and offered pick-up.
Hotels & Motels, plus local attractions.
A map is also provided showing the local area around each station.
