This book has 223 pages of information about every station on the Metrolink system as of July 1996, plus bus connection information, points of interest, and places to stay. There are color coded maps of the areas around each station, including diagrams of the local transit routes. Detailed information is provided about every point of interest and phone numbers are provided for the hotels.
The information about Metrolink and bus ticket prices will probably be good for a while, or at least be close to the current fare. The book also contains all the Metrolink train schedules and bus schedules. Many of those are already obsolete, so you will need to get updates of that information and not rely on the schedules in the book.
