- Tour of the Philadelphia Amtrak 30th Street Station.
- Views of the Philadelphia Rail Yard.
- Tour of Amtrak's Philadelphia "CETC"
(Centralized Electrification and Traffic Control) center,
the "high-tech" system for dispatching and controlling the railroad between
Washington,DC and Morrisville,PA, near Trenton.
- Tour of Amtrak's National Operations Center (NOC).
- Social Hour at Capitol City Brewing Company in the Former Post Office Building Postmaster's Room.
- 09: Dinner with featured Speaker Mr. Alan Boyd, 3rd President of Amtrak:
The Way Things Were.
- Tour of Amtrak yard and maintenance buildings at Ivy City in Washington,DC.
- Tour of operations in K Tower.
- Tour of Washington Union Station and Amtrak facilities at station.
I have posted photographs here from most of the above events. However,
I do not have photographs or the transcript of the speech by Mr. Alan Boyd,
the 3rd President of Amtrak. Others that did attend this event did take
pictures and record the speech. I'm going to attempt to obtain photographs
and the transcript and also post them to this web site.
